During our off-season, (April- August) the Island has become a popular destination for family reunions,
corporate retreats, and vacations. The Lodge is nestled on a secluded, wooded island, overlooking the
beautiful Platte River, Near Linwood Ne. Approximately 60 miles from Omaha or Lincoln. The lodge and
bunkhouse work very well for three-day weekends or week-long gatherings, vacations and reunions. Swim,
sunbathe, canoe & kayak, fish, or wade & explore in the river, sandbars and Islands. Enjoy the peaceful 5 BR
lodge with fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, air conditioning, wood burning stove, loft, great room,
sunroom, covered deck, and spacious patio, all with captivating, panoramic views of the river. The connected
bunkhouse has 8 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is air-conditioned as well. Take walks, bring your bike. Bird
watching and wildlife viewing opportunities are tremendous. Family, guests, and customers have enjoyed the
